Equipment
Team jerseys are property of ASA. You will be provided with and asked to return a form with the following info: player name, phone #, and jersey #. ASA appreciates all coaches cooperation in keeping track of ASA equipment. Questions should be directed to Shelly Sutton, ASA Equipment Managers (229-3805).

Equipment Returns
Each season, ASA loses thousands of dollars worth of jerseys. This is money that can and should be spent toward new jersey sets and other miscellaneous equipment. If you are cleaning closets, bedrooms, cars, garages, etc. and find jerseys or other equipment belonging to ASA, please drop off items at the ASA office or Concession Stand. Be assured that costs will be contained because you were kind enough to return these items!

Player Equipment
All players are required to wear commercial shin guards at all games and practices. These may be purchased at any local sporting goods or discount store. Shin guards must be completely covered by socks or pants at all times.

Soccer shoes with round molded cleats are the preferred shoe. However, with continuing advancements in shoe development, there may be various other soccer cleats available. ASA recommends buyers check with suppliers to verify shoes are marked for soccer use. ASA has made every effort to ensure Aberdeen suppliers are informed of these requirements. No football toe-cleated shoes will be allowed! Soccer cleats are not a required piece of equipment - especially in U6's & U7's. However, soccer is an all-weather sport, and it would be advantageous for older players to use acceptable foot gear on wet fields.

Mouth pieces and other protection gear is optional. ASA provides team jerseys.
